What is the Buddha's skin color?

The scriptures say it is golden. Some people say its brown, some people say its dark brown, some people say its white.

It’s golden. It’s one of the 32 marks of a Great Man. It’s the karmic result of offering clothes and refraining from anger in many past lives. The Bodhisatta also had golden skin in some past lives as a human. Some disciples of the Buddha also had golden skin.
