This is a new static site version of the English translations on SuttaCentral. Almost pure HTML and CSS.

Just replace .net with .express and most urls (for English translations and Pali root texts) load almost instantly.

Looks good. What framework was used.. or just js and html?
Is it github hosted? or hosted on the suttacentral server?
Hint: If you host on github pages, you can use cloudflare to cache the pages. Then you won’t need to worry about quotas since cloudflare buffers the page hits. I think that’s how it works. I do that with my americanmonk website on github and cloudflare.

It’s pure static html pages with css. Just a pinch of js, currently smaller than the css file.

Look at the bottom of the pages for the repos.

It’s not an official SC project. It’s not mine, I just learned about it from the SC forum.

ETA: I’m not sure how the static pages are built. I’m guessing they are using some kind of framework.
