Satta Bojjhaṅgā

Is there any commentarial support for the view that the awakening factors pertain to mundane as well as supramundane jhāna?

Looking at the Sammohavinodanī it looks like we can read them both ways

From Bodhāyasutta

bodhāya saṃvattantī’ti kho, bhikkhu, tasmā bojjhaṅgāti vuccanti

They are for the sake of awakening or they lead to awakening, therefore they are called factors of awakening.

From the Commentary

imasmiṃ sutte missakabojjhaṅgā kathitā

Here ‘missaka’ means lokiya-lokuttara-missaka.

From the Commentary to the paṭhamagilānasutta

Being reminded of the Bojjhanga by the Blessed One, Mahākassapa Thera who was ill, reflected thus

mayhaṃ pabbajitadivasato sattame divase saccāni paṭivijjhantassa ime bojjhaṅgā pātubhūtā

Something like,

On the seventh day after my going forth, as I was penetrating the Four Noble Truths, these awakening factors arose in me.
