Dear All
I am visiting Kathmandu and Lumbini with my family this month. If anyone happens to be there let me know and perhaps we can meet up.
The most venerable Pa-Auk Sayadawgyi is in Nepal. You should find out where he is. Recently he was in Lumbini. I’m not sure where he is now. But I think his main place is in the below link. I would imagine you have much praise for a teacher who has brought back the method of “knowing and seeing” the Abhidhamma Dhammas.

Actually that would be very nice if you happen to know where I could meet.
Currently at a talk given by Ajarn Sujin in Kathmandu. Great to see so much interest in Abhidhamma. It is in Thai with Nepalese translation and I have a English translator sitting next to me.
Sujin is asking the audience questions about the present moment. Whether the moment now has the same characteristics as the time when Buddha penetrated Dhamma.
Thus when we discuss, listen, or reflect on Dhamma is an auspicious time. Then she said that many people are nodding their head but if one just agrees without actual understanding that is not a mangala.
The question is “what is happening now?”. She is waiting for the audience to reply.
Someone said they only think about past and future. Sujin said 'that is honest '.
She asks is there seeing now?
At the end of Sujin Boriharnwanaket’s Dhamma talk today I gave a few comments and my daughter added what she remembered.
"Sabbe dhamma anatta… "
At Lumbini a venerable Bhikkhu saw me struggling with distributing alms to a group of beggars and told them to share equally. Not sure if that is vinaya compliant but it was helpful.
The top photo is near the Asoka pillar showing where the Bodhisatta was born.
The bottom photo is said to be the place where Rahula asked his father for his inheritance. And the Buddha gave him the acceptance as a samanera.
