I want to stop listening to songs starting from tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice on how I can permanently stop listening to music?
Should I let go of it gradually? Like, should I stop listening to certain songs first and then stop listening to calming music as well or should I stop listening to all kinds of music at the same time?
Observe the music mindfully. Notice the pleasure is just a sensation, not “you.” It arises, it fades. Let it be, without clinging. True freedom is in the space between the notes.
Thank you for the advice. I wasn’t able to stop listening to all kinds of music but I did stop listening to some songs. Now the music I listen to are more peaceful.
