Great Chanting

I found this great chanting. It’s really calming to the ears and mind.

Description of the video:

These beautiful verses were first uttered by a Brahmin named Piṅgīyānī after he was amazed by the great beauty and glory of the Blessed One which exceeded that of 500 kings who were dressed in their majestic clothing.

See how the beauty of the Blessed One’s physical body, full of meritorious marks, is so glorious. Imagine how magnificent the Supreme Buddha’s body of Dhamma with unique wisdom is?

Verses

“padumaṁ yathā kokanadaṁ sugandhaṁ,
pātosiyā phullamavītagandhaṁ.
aṅgīrasaṁ passa virocamānaṁ,
tapanta mādicca mivantalikkhe”ti.

Even as the lotus, the red lotus, of fragrant perfume,
appears at early morning full-bloomed, with fragrance unimpaired,
Like the sun that blazes in the clear summer sky,
Look there, the Blessed One dwelling
radiating virtue, concentration and wisdom.

I also like this chanting. The Buddha statue looks very beautiful. This is how I imagine the Buddha to look like but with colorful rays. This helps you to visualize the Buddha while listening to the chanting.
