Fast track to Nibbana (Wrong View)

Iti santaṃ vā attānaṃ paññapenti arogaṃ* paraṃ maraṇā, sato vā pana sattassa ucchedaṃ vināsaṃ vibhavaṃ paññapenti, diṭṭhadhammanibbānaṃ vā paneke abhivadanti.

Thus, they either proclaim an existing self as healthy after death, or they proclaim the annihilation, destruction, and disappearance of an existing being, or some proclaim nibbāna in this very life.

My interpretation of this verse is that: Vajrayana’s “fast path to Nibbana in this life” is completely ignorant of what the Buddha said.

It is referring to eternalist and annihilatist views right? So I think any wrong paths at all.

Perhaps you can give more context of the sutta you are talking about, and what practice you know about that does such false fast tracks as a practice. The post does not make sense.

I was responding to the verse:

…, or some proclaim nibbāna in this very life.

Vajrayanists say they can reach Nibbana in this very life by the means of fast tracking with tantra and rituals.
