There are lots of scenarios imagined in which AI goes rogue. But more interesting to me is will AI have consciousness and what would that mean. This video discusses lots of possibilities around this. Even the religious and the Pope has even got involved. Food for thought and reflection. If AI is conscious is it subject to the 4 Noble Truths? Can we be reborn as an all knowing Language Learning Model AI? Buddhist Scifi story in my imagination. Anyway what is a sentient being is an important thing to reflect on.
