Are Pa Auk teachers achievers of what they teach?

The only monastery I respect is Pa Auk and most of all the most venerable Pa Auk Sayadaw himself, however since @bksubhuti is here I might as well ask this.

  1. What does it take to become a teacher at Pa Auk? Have they actually achieved the levels of jhana they teach or do they just have theoretical knowledge?

  2. Is Pa Auk Sayadaw considered an Arahat, or has any lower level of attainmentor has declared himself such, as the claim is that the teaching can you to the end? Is this known among the monastic community?

  3. Are these questions inappropriate to ask for lay people at the monastery, and is it ok to ask these questions if you are a monk living there?

Answer to #1.. a lot. There are many yogis and monks who finish the course. Very few are teachers and there is surely a big shortage in pa-auk teachers. That is all I want to say.
#2) You can ask him
#3). Yes, better not to ask questions like this about other monks, and never ask this to monks about themselves.
