Anvaye ñāṇa (nana)

Just a term I came across .
sometimes translated as inferential wisdom but I would like to put it here in case there are some useful comments from members.

I guess ‘inference’ can be used. But inference based on paccakkha ñāṇa

can you say more?

For example, someone who has penetrated dependent origination, knows that others also have to do this , others have done this etc.

It is wisdom originating from a stream of thoughts that flows naturally that compares the current experience with the past and the future thus arriving at a conclusion. The resultant understanding is like this: “This what I experienced is definitely what those in the past experienced. This what I experienced is definitely what they will experience in future.”. There, the words “those” and “they” refer to who had found the path and cemented it in the past and who will find the path and cement it in future respectively.
