It’s interesting that the Bodhisatta and future disciples were reborn as the king of gods or wheel turning monarch many times immediately upon death but those who became stream enterers or once returners weren’t reborn as the king of gods or wheel turning monarch immediately upon death. They might still be reborn as the king of gods or a wheel turning monarch in their remaining lives

AFAIK, a Wheel-Turning Monarch doesn’t coexist with a Sammāsambuddha.
Regarding rebirth as a king of the gods, I believe that a new king wouldn’t arise while the current one is still alive. Above the Heaven of the Four Great Kings, each heaven has its own king.
Stream-enterers can be reborn in prominent positions before their final lives. The final existence of these noble ones — and by definition, the next rebirth of a once-returner is their last — would be dedicated to ending suffering. So it seems inevitable that, in their last life, they become renunciants.
For now, I owe you the references.

This is interesting to me because I do remember the texts saying that. At the same time, one of the suttas mention that there will be a wheel turning monarch at the time of the next Buddha and he will renounce his kingship and become enlightened. Maybe it might be after the next Buddha enters parinibbana?
