What to call those who do not like Classical Theravāda

What is striking is that, across virtually every major religion and its various denominations today, there have emerged individuals who exhibit very similar tendencies: a rejection of tradition; an acceptance of certain elements while rejecting others with regard to scripture; attempts to reinterpret scripture so as to conform to their own will; and, more broadly, an attempt to recast religious doctrines in a subjective and personalized form, selecting and reshaping them according to their own preferences. You can now find monks preaching their own erroneous Dhamma in Theravādin robes, despite being in schism from the tradition itself.

I think this is a phenomenon that inevitably emerges over the course of time among certain types of people, and that it has become particularly pronounced with the advent of modernism.
