This should be the final version, as I don’t see any further errors possible. See the description on the Anki website for details. Includes audio, split into many files. At a modest 4 new cards per day, it’s estimated to be completable in 9 months Next one I am going to do is Dhammapada, then Bhikkhuni Pātimokkha. I personally used anki to memorized the whole thing, but it does require revisi…

Similar to the memorization deck above, I made one for Dhammapada in the last week or so with lots of help from Gemini.

So far I have 9 translations, 8 for the English, 1 for Chinese: Ā. Thanissaro, Ā. Sujato, Ā. Anandajoti, Ā. Suddhaso, Ā. Buddharakkhita, Ā. Narada MahaThera, Ā. Weragoda, and Feldmeier.

Any other translators you would recommend, or wish to be included?

The English side of the card would have a drop down menu containing the translator’s names and when you switch, the different translations appears, and there’s a button below which when clicked, expands to show word by word breakdown of the Pāli, all the translations and the full commentary story involved with the verse (translated by Ā. Anandajoti).

For AI help, I asked it to give me python code that allows me to run locally extracting texts to put into csv into Anki, so that I can be sure that there’s no hallucinations in the output.
