Sometimes when I read a certain sutta and comes to a touchy point where I suddenly felt so amazing and I got tears in my eyes.

Have you guys experience this before?

I get a nice feeling when i hear the words.

> “aññāsi vata, bho koṇḍañño, aññāsi vata bho koṇḍañño"ti. iti hidaṃ āyasmato koṇḍaññassa ‘aññāsikoṇḍañño’ tveva nāmaṃ ahosi.”

From Dhammacakka.

I can get real tears of joy, when I contemplate how lucky I am to be a monk, or when I contemplate my teachers. It comes while I’m talking about monk life or (to) my teachers I have to stop talking when I feel the tears coming.Otherwise, they really come. I guess that is what they call, “Getting choked up”.

It happens when I try to do metta…
I experience goosebumps. And sensation moving all around body …and i do metta that time …and I feel like crying but I stop that I do not need to cry …some time when I see buddha image or a bhikku again I feel to cry but I stop it …
I think crying is bad … I think I am overreacting at that situation.
Becouse in reality I do not follow shila in that extent. And just cry for buddha is not right when you don’t follow his teachings properly.

Maybe it’s not literally tears in my eyes but I do feel really glad and relieved when I contemplate how lucky I am to be a Buddhist and the benefits I will get by following the Dhamma. Maybe I’m a Buddhist now because I have made enough good kamma in the past. It makes me feel lucky and special.

The following line from the Angulimala Paritta, usually gives me a hair raising feeling when I hear it

> yatohaṃ, bhagini, **ariyāya jātiyā jāto** , nābhijānāmi sañcicca pāṇaṃ jīvitā voropetā

Yes me too.. especially regarding my monk life and remembering generosity towards me. It is in some of my videos.
